User Data: Device data that can be directly or indirectly traced back to a natural person.

Non-personal data: Data that cannot be traced back to an identifiable natural person.

Skopei devices may generate the following categories of data:

  • Unlock and lock events

  • Access times

  • Authorisation events

4.3 Location data

  • Location of device

  • Location of user (if necessary for the service)

  • Device status (online/offline)

  • Error messages and faults

  • Firmware and software versions

  • System logs

  • Vehicle data

4.5 Transactional and administrative data

  • Payment details

  • Billing details

4.6 Identification data

  • Number plate

5. Purposes of processing

The above-mentioned data is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • Providing and functioning of the service

  • Access control and security

  • Billing and administrative processing

  • Maintenance and fault analysis

  • Improvement of systems and services

  • Compliance with legal obligations

6. Classification of personal data

Insofar as device data can be directly or indirectly traced back to a natural person, this data is classified as personal data and processed in accordance with the GDPR and the privacy policy of Skopei.

7. Access to data

7.1 User rights

Users have the right to:

  • Gain access to their device data

  • Receive a copy of their device data

7.2 Request procedure

Requests can be submitted using the contact details as set out in the privacy policy.

Skopei will handle requests within the statutory timeframes.

8. Sharing data with third parties

  • Providers (Landlords and/or administrators)

Insofar as technically possible, Skopei makes device data available in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

11. Restrictions

Skopei may restrict access to data if:

  • This is necessary to protect the rights of third parties

  • Trade secrets are at stake

  • This is required by law

Skopei takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure device and personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
